Retail Banking Analytics (RBA) in ING Analytics is looking for a Product Manager for Consumer Finance domain. As a Product Manager you will originate and build data-driven algorithmic products. This is an entrepreneurial and global role in an innovative international team.
The team
RBA specialises in delivering Analytics and AI products and solutions across the ING retail business. We work together with all retail business units to deliver on the ING retail banking strategy. Projects span across personalisation and CI, mortgages, consumer finance, collections, pricing, and business banking.
Roles and responsibilities
- Lead assigned analytics product development in prioritised area(s) in RBA
- Potential to extend product area when further grow.
- Product discovery: identify (data) problems, prioritize idea backlog and design and execute experiments to determine what problems need solving
- Work with a squad of Data Scientists and Engineers to discover the potential of a product idea, the user problem and validate and prototype
- Manage data-driven products so that they generate significant value for ING and its customers
- Create value propositions, vision and product strategy
- Good understanding of innovation and product management methodologies such as Lean, Agile and Design Thinking
- Ability to develop structured product concepts from abstract ideas and lead prototyping
- Demonstrate thought leadership internally and externally
- Understanding and enthusiasm for technology, advanced analytics and data science methods

- Previous experience leading and delivering analytics use cases and products is a must
- Previous experience and proven knowledge of working in corresponding area is a plus.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Masters Degree
- Written and spoken fluency in English
