The opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Finance Transformation Analyst to help shape how our Finance function operates as Netwealth continues to grow.

This is a hands on transformation role where you’ll identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls and reduce manual effort through automation, data and emerging technology. You’ll work across Finance and partner with teams including Fund Accounting, Corporate Finance and FP&A to deliver practical improvements that make our processes more efficient, scalable and effective.

As our automation and analytics capabilities continue to evolve, you’ll also play an important role in exploring how AI powered solutions can improve reporting, exception management and decision making across Finance.

Key Responsibilities include;

  • Lead Finance transformation, process improvement and automation initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability and control effectiveness
  • Identify, investigate and resolve operational issues through root cause analysis and sustainable process improvements
  • Develop and enhance automated workflows, reporting, dashboards and analytics to support better decision making
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Technology and Product to deliver change and operational improvements
  • Leverage data, AI and emerging technologies to drive innovation, reduce manual effort and enhance Finance outcomes

About you

You're a naturally curious and analytically minded finance professional who enjoys improving the way things work. You thrive on solving complex problems, leveraging technology to drive efficiencies and partnering with stakeholders to deliver meaningful business outcomes. Your skills include:

  • Experience in finance operations, financial control, accounting or financial services, with exposure to process improvement or transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of Finance processes, controls and risk management, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience working with Finance systems, automation platforms and reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, Python or similar
  • A collaborative communicator who can influence stakeholders, challenge existing ways of working and drive positive change
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline, with experience in superannuation, managed funds or AI tools
