We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager Logistics to collaborate with clients to understand their unique logistics needs and develop comprehensive project logistics plans.

Responsibility

In this key position, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination and execution of logistics projects to ensure the efficient movement of goods through the supply chain. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines and budgets, coordinating transportation and warehousing, mitigating risks, and collaborating with internal and external teams like buyers, carriers, supply chain project manager and clients.

  • Project management: Lead the logistics in the projects and get involved in the supply chain from initiation to completion, defining objectives, understanding the scope, and deliverables.
  • Planning and scheduling: Coordinate project schedules and lead forecasting meetings to ensure timely progress.
  • Transportation and distribution: Plan and manage the movement of goods, including selecting transportation methods, optimizing routes, and overseeing shipments.
  • Inventory and warehouse management: manage inventory tracking for consolidating goods at warehouses, and ensure the activities such as packing, crating and in-out keeping records are maintained.
  • Budget and risk management: Manage project budgets and identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Team and stakeholder coordination: Work with various teams (e.g., supply chain managers, procurement, project PM, quality) and stakeholders to gather requirements, align priorities, and ensure smooth communication.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Use data analysis to guide decisions, monitor performance against KPIs, and generate reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations and secure necessary permits.

What you bring

  • Solid Knowledge on logistics operational processes, tools, applications and execution especially break-bulk cargo and bidding Project Logistics. Experience with analysis, ERP systems, and reporting.
  • Good comprehension of Incoterms and application is a must, as well as customs compliance and knowledge for import/export process.
  • The position requires a good understanding of logistics operations across the world, knowing the challenges in trade tariff, break bulk loads and general terminology when dealing with ocean freight.
  • Applications, analytical mindset, and ability to communicate with all different teams and stakeholders globally within logistics and cross-organizational stakeholders bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field.
  • 3+ years’ proven experience managing project logistics.
  • Effective communicator with excellent stakeholder management experience.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for operational improvement and customer focus.
