About Job
USEReady is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst & Scrum Master (10–14 years experience) to bridge business stakeholders and technical data engineering teams for an Oil & Gas (O&G) client. This role will drive end-to-end project execution using Agile methodologies, lead requirements gathering, and translate complex operational needs into clear user stories and storyboards within Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis capabilities with technical familiarity in cloud data platforms and industrial operations.
Skills & Qualification
- Stakeholder Engagement & Requirement Elicitation: Partner closely with business leaders, operations teams, and technical engineers across Operations, Engineering, and Finance to capture, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Storyboard & Backlog Management: Own the creation and refinement of product backlogs, epics, features, and detailed technical user stories/storyboards in Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira, ensuring clear acceptance criteria.
- Agile Program Delivery: Drive end-to-end project execution as a Scrum Master, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and milestone tracking.
- O&G Domain Coordination: Facilitate delivery synchronization for projects involving industrial environments and operational sources (such as SCADA, PI systems, industrial historians, telemetry, and OT/IT source integration).
- Cross-Functional Bridge: Act as the primary translation layer between non-technical stakeholders and technical data engineering squads to clarify requirements, manage scope, and remove blockers.
- Dependency & Risk Management: Monitor sprint velocity, capacity, and cross-functional dependencies across modern cloud stacks (Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure) to maintain predictable project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Experience: 10–14 years of overall experience, with a proven track record combining Business Analysis and Scrum Master / Agile Project Management duties in technical data environments.
- Industry Domain: Demonstrated experience managing or analyzing projects within the Oil & Gas (O&G), energy, or heavy industrial sectors, with fluency in operational and engineering terminology.
- Tooling Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in creating storyboards, managing backlog items, and configuring workflows in Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira.
- Technical Acumen: Strong familiarity with modern data architectures, cloud platforms (Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake), and industrial systems (SCADA, OSIsoft PI) to effectively bridge business and engineering teams.
- Communication & Facilitation: Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead requirements workshops and drive alignment across distributed teams.
