MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To drive and deliver assigned projects (group of user stories, fixed scope or bucket of enhancement items) within the assigned Line-Of-Business (LOB) in accordance with approved time, cost and quality & IT PMO governance guidelines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers assigned projects, this includes handling all tasks that are involved in project initiation, execution and turn over to production.
  • Ensures assigned projects follow the standard procedures that are used in the flydubai’s project management governance framework in delivering and deployment of projects such as ensuring adherence to flydubai PMO standards.
  • Undertakes and drives contingency planning and project risk mitigation across all projects assigned under the LOB.
  • Plans and schedules project goals, milestones and deliverables to ensure the projects is delivered successfully within approved budgets, timelines and agreed scope to the project sponsor.
  • Reports the project progress as well as the Risks, Issues with Mitigations and Resolutions to the project stakeholders on a regular basis as per IT PMO guidelines.
  • Ensures project audit findings are addressed in a timely manner with agreed resolutions to the Non-Compliances & Observation raised against the projects.
  • Drives project categories of Package Acquisition, In-House Development, Fixed Bid & Turnkey projects with a good understanding of the process related to each of these project categories.
  • Ensures all resource demands are met for all projects managed in a timely manner to avoid any delays on projects due to resourcing challenges.
  • Monitors and ensures all resources on projects book accurate timesheets to report accurate projects actuals as part of the reporting requirement guidelines of IT PMO.
  • Ensures project colure process is completed within one month after the project(s) have been successfully delivered and all costs are accounted to the project accounts and project sign off is obtained.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • IT/Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
  • Fluent in English
  • Years with qualifications: 5 - 7 years
  • PMP or Prince 2 Certification

ISR REQUIREMENTS

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
