Ciklum is looking for a JavaScript Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

As a JavaScript Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Project Description:

This project is with a global Financial Services Provider that focuses on providing responsible credit to underbanked customers in international markets. The current strategy centers on consolidating technology delivery to a single partner to drive efficiency and operational excellence.

You will join the Customer Application. The primary mobile application serves as a critical self-service tool for over 800,000 users. It is currently undergoing a technology refresh, migrating to a modern framework to improve scalability, performance, and accessibility compliance across the organization's European footprint.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply agile methodology to software development processes
  • Forge close links with architects, developers, analysts, and wider team members within the development team
  • Communicate effectively with both peers and delivery team stakeholders
  • Prioritize workloads and act self-sufficiently while escalating key issues as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in this role developing complex solutions
  • Competency in React Native (iOS and Android) and React Native Expo
  • Competency in Typescript/Javascript
  • Experience with Google Play and App Store Connect
  • Experience with Firebase Services (Push, Crashlytics)
  • Expertise in Git/source control including branching and pull requests
  • Competency in JIRA, Confluence, and SCRUM software development processes
  • Fluent English speaking and excellent attention to detail
  • Valid AWS Certified Developer – Associate certificate (required within 6 months)

Desirable:

  • Competency in Snyk or equivalent security tooling
  • Competency in Kibana or equivalent logging solutions
  • Experience working within a Product Operating Model
