The ideal candidate should be able to: 

  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Android applications 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features 
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs 
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications 
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance 
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 
  • At least 3 years of work experience with Java/Kotlin and the Android SDK. 
  • Understanding of Android UI concepts and design guidelines. 
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries 
  • Familiar with Dependency injection with Hilt 
  • Background in object-oriented programming. 
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies 
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. 
  • Strong communicator, self-motivated and fast learner. 
  • Having published your own applications on Google Play store is a plus
