V2X is seeking an IT Systems Analyst (AWS) to join a cybersecurity team supporting the migration of technical capabilities to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud and the achievement of an Authority to Operate (ATO). In this role, you will help ensure appropriate security controls are implemented within the AWS environment, gather and document control inheritance and compliance evidence, and contribute to the technical documentation needed to support the authorization process.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain cybersecurity compliance controls, supporting evidence, and capture planning activities for systems operating within the AWS environment.
  • Collect, analyze, and document technical information related to AWS configurations, security controls, and compliance requirements in support of the ATO process.
  • Collaborate with system engineers, architects, cybersecurity personnel, and other project teams to understand technical designs, verify how security controls are implemented, and capture the artifacts needed to demonstrate compliance.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • AWS certification at the Foundational, Associate, or Professional level required.
  • IAT II certification (Security+ or better) required.
  • Eligibility to Obtain and Maintain a Public Trust/NACI Clearance required.

Experience

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) required.
  • Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) preferred.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity concepts, with the ability to collaborate with system engineers and architects to document technical compliance with security controls.
  • Working knowledge of AWS cloud services, configurations, and security controls.
  • Ability to understand and document how cybersecurity controls are implemented within an AWS environment.
  • Ability to collect, organize, and maintain technical information and compliance artifacts in support of the ATO process.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and cybersecurity teams.
  • Technical writing skills sufficient to clearly document system configurations, security controls, and compliance information.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments is preferred.

  • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company. USD $115,000.00 – $155,000.00
