Requirements

Candidates should have professional experience in UX writing, content design, or digital editorial work with exceptional English writing skills. A strong understanding of accessibility, plain language, and the ability to manage legal and domain constraints is required.

Full description

Nordic Investin has been engaged by a partner company to find an UX Writer and Content Designer. You can remove more friction with ten precise words than a team can add with another screen.

The partner is improving a digital service where users must understand choices, complete important tasks and recover when something goes wrong. You will design language as part of the experience, from navigation and guidance to errors, notifications and help content.

Design is embedded in product and service decisions rather than added after scope is fixed. The team expects evidence, accessibility and implementation constraints to be considered from the beginning and revisited after release.

How you will work

You will join a multidisciplinary team and move between discovery, design, delivery and learning after launch. The partner expects assumptions to be made visible, prototypes to answer real questions and design decisions to remain understandable when they reach engineering and operations.

As a specialist, you will own a defined professional area and be trusted to move work forward independently. You are expected to recognise when a question requires wider expertise, explain recommendations clearly and improve the methods or tools used by colleagues around you.

What you will do

  • Create clear interface copy across complete user journeys.
  • Develop content patterns, terminology and voice principles.
  • Test language with users and improve it using evidence.
  • Collaborate with design, product, legal and operational experts.
  • Simplify complex rules without changing their meaning.
  • Establish governance for content quality and localisation.

What you will bring

  • Professional UX writing, content design or digital editorial experience.
  • Exceptional English writing and editing ability.
  • Experience designing content within interfaces.
  • Understanding of accessibility and plain language.
  • Ability to manage legal and domain constraints.
  • Confidence explaining content decisions to multidisciplinary teams.

Experience that would add value

  • Swedish content design or localisation.
  • Regulated products or public services.
  • Content systems and structured content.

A background that can succeed here

Your background may be journalism, technical writing, communications, product design or dedicated content design. The strongest candidates can show not only polished wording, but how language changed comprehension, completion or user confidence.

What makes the opportunity interesting

The role gives content a seat in product development rather than a late proofreading step. You will shape how the service speaks, how users make decisions and how teams maintain clarity as the product grows.

The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time.

The recruitment conversation

During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional credential if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.

How to apply

Apply with your CV or LinkedIn profile and a short note describing the most relevant organisation, service, project or financial process you have helped improve. Nordic Investin welcomes candidates with different routes into the profession and assesses applicants on relevant capability, judgement and potential.
