Job Description:

The Senior Business Analyst will support the USCENTCOM J6 program in Tampa, Florida, as part of the Solutions Delivery organization.

As the Senior Business Analyst on the Solutions Delivery team, you will run the business analysis function while remaining hands-on in delivery. The team of Business Analysts (BA), sets delivery standards and drive the product-delivery cadence across cross-functional product delivery teams. You will turn mission needs into delivered capability — eliciting and translating requirements, owning the outreach and adoption work that gets tools into users' hands, and representing Solutions Delivery to government and GDIT leadership as the program transitions from a staff-augmentation model to a deliverable-based, automation-first model.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts; assign work, and balance capacity across concurrent efforts.
  • Own product-delivery cadence and project-management discipline across the product delivery teams — ensuring increments, reviews, and acceptance criteria are executed consistently.
  • Establish and maintain BA standards, templates, and quality across requirements, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Serve as the senior BA interface to government and GDIT leadership; represent Solutions Delivery in working groups and delivery reviews.
  • Partner with the Solutions Lead on planning, staffing, and prioritization across the portfolio.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from mission stakeholders; translate them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized product backlogs.
  • Own outreach, adoption, and rollout communications for delivered capabilities — publishing announcements, maintaining capability/landing pages, and coordinating demos and training so capabilities reach the enterprise.
  • Map current-state (as-is) processes and design re-engineered future-state (to-be) workflows aligned to platform best practices, rather than lifting legacy processes as-is onto new platforms.
  • Manage product delivery in ServiceNow SPM / Agile boards — grooming backlogs, tracking increments against the end-state, and running MVP/increment reviews as course-correction gates rather than checkboxes.
  • Coordinate across delivery pods to keep scope, dependencies, and stakeholders synchronized.
  • Define acceptance criteria and validate deliverables against them in support of deliverable-based execution.
  • Operate within NIPR/SIPR and comply with DoD security, data handling, and stewardship standards.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Experience: 5–7+ years of business analysis and/or product delivery experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Certifications: DoD 8140 baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE cert) preferred.
  • Clearance: Active Secret clearance is required; must be TS/SCI eligible.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for this role due to the clearance requirement and U.S. Government contract requirements.
  • Work location: Onsite at HQ Tampa; work performed in secure environments.  Potential for hybrid exists pending customer approval.

Required skills:

  • Proven business analysis leadership: leading BA teams and owning delivery of requirements, product backlogs, and stakeholder communications across multiple concurrent efforts.
  • Strong requirements skills: elicitation, process mapping, user stories/acceptance criteria, and backlog management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce and stand behind polished leadership-facing briefings and documentation.
  • Deep experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and supporting tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow Agile/SPM).
  • Strong familiarity with ITSM/ITIL concepts and platform-driven delivery (ServiceNow a strong plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate mission/user needs into structured product requirements and drive them to delivery.
  • Experience working in secure or DoD environments.

Preferred skills

  • Prior experience leading BA or product-delivery teams on DoD or federal contracts.
  • ServiceNow SPM/ITSM configuration or administration exposure.
  • Experience communicating and rolling out enterprise applications or AI/automation capabilities to a broad user base.
  • Business analysis or delivery certifications (CBAP/CCBA, PMP, CSM/PSM, ITIL Foundation).
  • Data literacy and dashboarding (Power BI or similar).
  • Experience supporting deliverable-based or outcome-based contracts.
  • Familiarity with USCENTCOM/J6 mission systems and requirements.

WHAT GDIT CAN OFFER:

  • Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home.
  • 401K with company match.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness packages.
  • Internal mobility team is dedicated to helping you own your career.
  • Professional growth opportunities include paid education and certifications.
  • Cutting-edge technology you can learn from and apply to solve real-world problems.
  • Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays.
