Senior React Developer

About the Role

As a Senior React Developer at Aspire, you will play a key role in designing and delivering complex, high-performance web applications for the financial services domain. You’ll work on mission-critical projects where security, accessibility, and real-time data visualization are paramount. Collaborating closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers, you will create scalable, responsive, and secure solutions that power modern banking and fin-tech platforms.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain modular, reusable React + TypeScript components for financial web applications.

• Work with backend engineers to integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring optimal security and performance.

• Implement robust state management using Redux, Zustand, or React Context.

• Maintain high-quality code with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).

• UI Excellence: Develop pixel-perfect, responsive UIs aligned with design systems (Figma), following WCAG and ARIA accessibility standards.

• Apply secure coding practices for authentication (OAuth2/OpenID Connect), sensitive data handling, and role-based access control.

• Use code splitting, lazy loading, memorization, and other techniques to optimize application performance.

• Review code, contribute to architectural discussions, and guide junior developers.

• Work with QA and DevOps teams to support pipelines and environment configurations.

What You'll Need

• 6+ years of front-end development experience (3+ with React + TypeScript).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Proven background in financial services, digital banking, or fin-tech projects.

• Deep knowledge of React Hooks & Functional Components.

• Deep knowledge of State management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, etc.)

• Solid TypeScript generics & typing best practices background.

• Experience in REST and GraphQL API integration

• Deep knowledge of Modern HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, CSS-in-JS (styled-components, TailwindCSS)

• Experience with authentication protocols (JWT, OAuth 2.0, SSO).

• Strong understanding of responsive design & cross-browser compatibility.

• Proficiency in testing frameworks (unit, integration, E2E).

• Knowledge of frontend security best practices (XSS, CSRF, secure token handling).

• Familiarity with agile workflows and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Git).

• Experience with financial dashboards, payment interfaces, or trading platforms is preferable.

• Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) and micro-frontend architecture.

• Exposure to server-side rendering (SSR).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or container-based environments.

• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.

• Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
