Job Description

We are looking for an Senior python Developer , with a strong focus on Python, Django, performance, API design, database management, and automation. The ideal candidate combines solid technical expertise with leadership capabilities and the ability to mentor and guide a team.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Architect and develop robust backend solutions using Python/Django
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure REST APIs
• Ensure application performance through query optimization and efficient architectures
• Manage and optimize relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Implement automation pipelines for testing and workflows
• Bridge the gap between developers and stakeholders to ensure technical and functional alignment
• Manage the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Foster a quality culture through unit, functional, and automated testing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development, specializing in backend development, system architecture, data integration, and automation 
• Proven expertise in Python (level 5/5) — including development of modular data transformation engines, automation scripts, and Django-based applications 
• Experience in Django (level 3/5) — web application development, unit and functional testing 
• Mastery of REST and SOAP APIs (level 5/5) — development of secure proxies and system integrations 
• Strong database expertise in MySQL (5/5) and Oracle (5/5), including query performance optimization, as well as experience with PostgreSQL 
• Solid automation background — Python scripts, BASH scripting, and command-line tools 
• Proven team leadership experience
• Experience in automated testing — unit tests, functional tests, and Selenium 
• Ability to design modular, extensible, and scalable architectures 

🌐 Languages

Portuguese is mandatory

English is mandatory, minimum C1 level.
