What you will do:
We are looking to hire a Product Manager, Fastpitch, who will own and drive the performance of the fastpitch softball category—leading product strategy, development, and execution across the full lifecycle. This role sits at the center of the business, translating consumer insights and market opportunities into commercially successful products.
This role will be responsible for building and managing the category roadmap, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring all products are delivered on time, on cost, and aligned with brand standards. Acting as the primary point of contact across cross-functional teams—including design, sourcing, sales, and marketing—you will ensure alignment from concept through commercialization.
This role will also contribute to broader Diamond Sports category initiatives and provide administrative and product support across the larger team as business needs require.
This role will require travelling to company sponsored events with overnight stays and also needs to be able to travel internationally (passport and able to obtain Visas).
The position is located at our Headquarters in Stoughton, MA with a hybrid office option and will report to the Senior Director.

IN MORE DETAIL, YOU WILL:
- Own the softball product category, including assortment strategy, product roadmap, and lifecycle management
- Lead new product development from concept through commercialization, ensuring timelines, costing, and quality targets are met
- Identify market opportunities through consumer insights, competitive analysis, and trend research, and translate them into actionable product initiatives
- Drive product line reviews, presentations, and key milestone meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Manage vendor relationships and collaborate closely with global supply chain partners on development, costing, and production execution
- Oversee product data integrity, materials approvals, and packaging to ensure accuracy and consistency across all systems and deliverables
- Support go-to-market execution, including positioning, storytelling, and key selling tools for major accounts
- Partner with sales on account needs, custom opportunities, and line architecture to maximize category performance
- Analyze product performance and business metrics to inform future decisions and continuous improvement
- Support the Senior Director in long-term category growth planning by providing data-driven insights, market analysis, and product recommendations
- Support Senior Director on financial and strategic decisions, including P&L, ROI, and company-wide initiatives—providing inputs and recommendations
- Other projects as assigned
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in product management, business, marketing, sports management, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of product management experience
- Passion for fastpitch softball and a clear point of view on how to create differentiated, athlete-led products

- Ability to travel domestic and internationally (valid passport and ability to obtain Visas) up to 15% via car, plane and train including overnight,
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.

For this role, the pay range is $81,000 – $98,000 annually, which is what we reasonably expect to offer when filling the position. Your actual offer will depend on things like your experience, skills, and what you bring to the team.
