This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with HR teams and key stakeholders to provide HR reporting, analytics and data insights.
You will provide HR data, reporting and analytics which assist leaders to make informed strategic decisions across the employee lifecycle. This includes talent, performance, diversity and inclusion, workforce planning, gender pay gap, training and employee experience.
The role duration is 12 months, and it will be based in our global headquarters in Sutton. This is a modern spacious building with several fantastic facilities including onsite gym and wellbeing centre, café and restaurant.
A train station is located nearby along with a number of shops and services. Subsea7 offer both hybrid and flexible work options.
What will you be doing?
- Manage the design, development and maintenance of HR dashboards and reporting solutions using SuccessFactors (SF), Power BI and other data analytic tools.
- Deliver strategic HR metrics and actionable insights through advanced analytics and data storytelling, covering areas including headcount, workforce planning, promotions, diversity & inclusion, turnover, reward, salary benchmarking, gender pay gap, training, employee engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including HR, Finance, Data Governance, IT) to define new reporting requirements, develop scalable solutions, and support business-critical projects including talent, performance and payroll integrations.
- Contribute to merger and integration activities by aligning HR data structures and reporting frameworks.
- Evaluate and implement new reporting tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power Platform) and technologies to enhance analytics capabilities.
- Support for data governance and quality assurance, conducting regular audits and implementing controls to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across HR systems. Investigate root causes of data discrepancies.
- Prepare, analyse and present workforce and monthly Group headcount reporting, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and clear communication of insights across all levels of the organisation.
- Conduct regular and ad hoc business analysis and support HR business decisions
- Assist with Group HRIS activities.
- Further responsibilities may evolve alongside role requirements and relevant experience.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Significant demonstrable experience in an HR analytics role within a global organisation
- Solid foundation in HR systems and people analytics, with the ability to support strategic decisions
- Extensive expertise in HR systems, particularly SAP and SuccessFactors, database management languages (e.g. SQL) with a broad understanding of data modelling. SAP certification would be beneficial
- Experience in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and other BI tools
- Demonstrates ability to support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with global data standards
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to manage, interpret, and present large datasets in a meaningful way
- Experience in developing and delivering executive-level reports and dashboards with high attention to detail, data integrity, and confidentiality.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across global teams and time zones
- Numeric with highly effective planning and organising skills, able to manage multiple sometimes competing deadlines.
- Comfortable working with remote based colleagues i.e. global locations and varied time-zones
- Ability to manage own workload, taking initiative and ownership, whilst also able to work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure effective delivery of work
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field, is advantageous but not essential.
