About the Role

We are looking for someone to lead the deployment, support, and operation of a hybrid enterprise infrastructure environment, combining traditional on‑premise and virtualized systems with Google Cloud Platform. The role will focus on provisioning and administering Kubernetes infrastructure, implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and driving automation across cloud environments to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency for one of our clients based in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision and administer Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring reliability and scalability

• Deploy, operate, scale, upgrade, and troubleshoot Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters

• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for automated infrastructure provisioning

• Implement Infrastructure as Code practices to streamline cloud operations

• Automate cloud environment setup, configuration, and lifecycle management

• Manage GitLab pipelines, Artifact Registry, and containerized Docker/Kubernetes environments

• Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and security across GCP workloads

• Collaborate with teams to resolve infrastructure issues and support enterprise applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred; diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in enterprise or production infrastructure

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

• Hands‑on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code

• Proficiency in Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and Google Artifact Registry

• Solid Linux administration and Bash scripting skills

• Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools

• Proven ability in production troubleshooting, incident management, and operational support for high‑availability systems

• Strong English communication skills for effective collaboration
