Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Labor & Delivery (L&D) Manager of Nursing (RN) in Albuquerque, NM.

  • Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • The nurse manager will promote the mission and values of the organization and be an active advocate of providing quality patient care, excellent customer service and efficient health care.
  • As a member of the management team, the nurse manager will be involved in system planning, budgeting, manpower planning and program development in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school required. Effective 9/1/19 if applicant does not have a BSN – must be enrolled in accredited BSN program with scheduled date of completion.
  • Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Maintains current BLS
  • Facility/unit specific certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ clinical nursing experience in area of specialty
