Archer Mechanical is seeking a full-time Associate Project Manager to join our growing team.

Archer Mechanical specializes in sustainable mechanical and plumbing systems, providing design-build, design-assist, new construction, additions, remodels, retrofits, service, and preventative maintenance.

The organization has been established since 1987 and has continued to grow rapidly over the past 39 years. Archer Mechanical produces a higher-value product cost-effectively and efficiently using progressive construction planning technologies, advanced construction materials, and manufacturing methods, reducing safety risks, schedule durations, and congestion on the job site while enhancing results.

We’re seeking a highly motivated and organized Associate Project Manager to join our team as we continue to grow and take on exciting new projects. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager to assist with daily tasks and projects, including document control, scope of work support, procurement support, safety compliance, and estimation. The ideal candidate will have a strong education background or experience in the trade industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong desire to learn and grow with our team. Bluebeam, Viewpoint, and Microsoft Office skills are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, organize, and distribute contract documents and shop drawings/submittals to appropriate team members
  • Assist in drafting, submitting, and tracking RFIs and their corresponding responses
  • Attend field coordination meetings and distribute meeting notes
  • Administer project closeout documentation including Operation and Maintenance manuals, startup reports, owner training, and punch lists
  • Identify, track, and report on changes to the original scope of work
  • Maintain equipment procurement logs and assist in management and tracking of tool and equipment rentals
  • Perform site walkthroughs and inspections to ensure safety compliance
  • Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to estimate projects and perform basic estimating using estimating software

Qualifications:

  • Strong education background or experience in the trade industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication
  • Highly organized and punctual individual
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems *Preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Bluebeam experience *Preferred
  • Viewpoint experience *Preferred
