Java Full Stack Engineer – Cloud & Agile Development

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Java Full Stack technology professional with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in technology leadership and software development. The role will lead cross-functional technology teams, provide technical guidance, drive technology initiatives, and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions. The position will contribute to business objectives by supporting successful project delivery, improving technology processes, evaluating new technologies, maintaining technology roadmaps, and ensuring alignment between technology capabilities and overall business strategy.

Software Requirements

Required

• In-depth understanding of various technologies and software systems.

• Strong experience with Java Full Stack development using current and supported versions of Java and relevant full-stack technologies.

• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, priorities, constraints, and expected outcomes while contributing to technical designs and delivery plans.

• Lead cross-functional technology teams, provide technical guidance, participate in Agile meetings, and coordinate with engineering, product, operations, security, and business stakeholders.

• Evaluate new technologies, maintain technology roadmaps, monitor project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and support successful project delivery.

• Mentor team members, manage vendor relationships, support contract discussions, maintain technical documentation, and make or facilitate technical decisions within established governance boundaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technology leadership and software development, including relevant Java Full Stack experience.

• Certifications in cloud computing, Agile, Scrum, project management, software architecture, or related technologies are preferred but not mandatory unless required for a project.

• Complete Synechron-required training and maintain continuous professional development in Java, full-stack development, cloud technologies, security, software architecture, and Agile delivery.
