Business Analyst / Project Manager Up to $56/hour | W2 | Remote | Ongoing Contract
Del Oro Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager to support a channel partner program through business analysis, project management, process improvement, reporting, and operational execution. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable business insights, manage strategic initiatives, support operational processes, and identify opportunities to improve program performance.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with project management expertise and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business recommendations.
Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Insights
- Analyze quarterly business
performance trends and key metrics to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and deliver actionable
business insights that help stakeholders understand performance and make informed decisions.
- Identify and monitor leading
indicators that provide early visibility into business outcomes and program success.
- Create reports, dashboards, and
executive summaries to communicate findings to leadership and business partners.
Program & Project Management
- Lead and support the
development, testing, and implementation of new processes and operational enhancements.
- Partner with stakeholders to
gather requirements, define business needs, and drive project execution.
- Monitor project milestones,
dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
- Facilitate communication across
teams and provide regular project status updates.
Operational Support
- Serve as the primary point of
contact for program business requests.
- Coordinate data collection,
analysis, reporting, and issue resolution to meet established timelines and service expectations.
- Ensure the accuracy,
completeness, and timeliness of reports and deliverables.
- Support ongoing program
operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
- Identify, assess, and manage
program risks and issues, developing mitigation plans as needed.
- Proactively monitor operational
challenges and recommend process improvements.
- Document business processes,
controls, and best practices to support scalability and operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement
efforts that enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and stakeholder experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business,
Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in business
analysis, project management, program management, or operational support.
- Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and identify trends.
- Experience developing reports,
presentations, and executive-level business insights.
- Excellent communication and
stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple
priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with KPI performance
management, operational analytics, or business intelligence reporting.
- Knowledge of project management
methodologies and process improvement practices.
- Advanced Excel and data
analysis skills.
- Experience with reporting and
visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience working in
cross-functional and highly collaborative environments.
