Associate Systems Analyst

The Associate Systems Analyst works with Sr Systems Analyst and Systems Development Manager to meet end users to define needs for development projects or system enhancements of low to medium complexity. He/she supports all applications and business process as their primary function and assist in documenting functional and system related requirements and participates in the cost benefit analysis. The position performs systems analysis and design functions and participates in system testing. He/she also provides supplemental user training.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responds to production problems and technical issues in a timely fashion
• Meets with developers to understand the technical aspects of proposed solutions
• Documents functional and systems requirements
• Performs systems analysis and design activities
• Meets with all interested parties to facilitate the best solutions (users, vendors, etc…)
• Assists the senior systems analysts with the review of all vendors related and third party provided solutions
• Informs users on all system related issues that could impact other areas of operation
• Supports system testing activities through all stages of the project life cycle
• Develops a detailed understanding of one or more key system within the application portfolio
• Assists with the design and implementation and support of interfaces and point of integration to other application environments
• Acts as the focal point for day-to-day operating questions generated by the user including function usage and program option purposes.
• Adheres to other defined SOPs as required.
• Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
• The Company operates a twenty-four (24), hour, seven (7) days a week business. Therefore, it may be necessary to change the accustomed shifts, at times, as the business demands.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience in an information systems organization and/or equivalent work experience – r r recommended
• Knowledge of the business analysis process
• Project tracking tools/skills or equivalent work experience is preferred
• Knowledge of application support, system network architecture and troubleshooting
