This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IT Project Manager based in Brazil.
This role provides end-to-end project management and delivery oversight across multiple high-priority enterprise IT initiatives. You will manage projects from initiation through completion, covering planning, scheduling, governance, execution, and operational transition. The position focuses on complex technology environments including cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, Microsoft technologies, and information management. You will coordinate technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, project sponsors, and senior leadership to keep initiatives aligned and progressing. Strong ownership of risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables will be essential to maintaining successful project outcomes. The role also offers the opportunity to improve delivery practices through collaboration tools, reporting solutions, Microsoft applications, and AI-enabled technologies.

Accountabilities:
- Manage IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables remain aligned.
- Develop project charters, business cases, project plans, schedules, governance documentation, and other required project deliverables.
- Define and maintain project scope, objectives, assumptions, milestones, resources, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and workstreams with competing priorities.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules and work plans.
- Track milestones, deliverables, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and interdependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate project teams, technical resources, vendors, business stakeholders, and other contributors.
- Facilitate project meetings and maintain effective communication with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Prepare project status reports, presentations, dashboards, and governance materials for project sponsors, steering committees, and senior management.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks and issues, taking corrective action when required.
- Coordinate business requirements and maintain associated project documentation.
- Support change management, stakeholder communication, transition, and operational handover activities.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable governance, cybersecurity, information-management, and enterprise-architecture standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and project partners.
- Evaluate project outcomes, document lessons learned, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Leverage Microsoft applications, collaboration platforms, AI tools, and reporting technologies to improve project delivery, visibility, and communication.
- Support initiatives involving cybersecurity and infrastructure, including legacy server remediation, vulnerability mitigation, end-of-life infrastructure remediation, Windows Server and SQL Server environments, server migration and decommissioning, modernization, and technical dependency coordination.
- Manage or support SharePoint and Microsoft technology initiatives, including SharePoint Online migrations, SharePoint 2016 migration and decommissioning, intranet and extranet migrations, legacy server replacement, Microsoft 365, Power Apps transitions, and collaboration or information-management initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional project management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing project deliverables such as project charters, business cases, project plans, schedules, and related documentation.
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Minimum 3 years of experience implementing IT solutions within a structured project management environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience serving as a Project Manager on large, complex custom software projects.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with information-management and cybersecurity policies, standards, or directives.
- Active PMP or PGMP certification is required.
- Strong understanding of IT project planning, governance, scheduling, risk management, dependency management, and delivery practices.
- Ability to coordinate technical and business teams while maintaining alignment across multiple workstreams.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with audiences at different organizational levels.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and delivery commitments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, infrastructure environments, cybersecurity initiatives, SharePoint, and information-management projects is highly relevant.
