Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Junior Network Administrator to support the daily operations, maintenance, and security of our network infrastructure. This role works closely with senior IT staff to ensure reliable connectivity across on-premises and cloud environments while supporting business applications, including ERP systems such as Infor or VitalEdge.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring, configuring and maintaining LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, VLAN and firewall systems
- Support user account management (Active Directory, email, VPN access)
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, and performance issues
- Help maintain switches, routers, access points, and related equipment
- Support network security initiatives, patching, and vulnerability remediation
- Document configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions
- Provide Tier 1–2 technical support to end users
- Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of IT or networking experience (internships count)
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewalls
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V and Microsoft 365
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus
- Knowledge of ERP environments (Infor or VitalEdge) preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
