Accountabilities: As a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Salesforce, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise solutions while contributing to technical strategy and platform evolution.
- Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, and SOSL while ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems through REST/SOAP APIs, ETL tools, and messaging platforms.
- Build and maintain automation solutions using flows, triggers, workflows, process automation tools, and other Salesforce capabilities.
- Collaborate with product, UX, QA, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver secure, efficient solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Create and optimize Salesforce reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions, technical reviews, and engineering initiatives that improve platform quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including bugs, performance challenges, and system reliability concerns.
- Support external technical partners and consultancies by ensuring architectural consistency and high-quality implementations.
- Drive architectural discussions, influence technical direction, and establish engineering standards as a Staff-level contributor.
- Support cross-team initiatives and ensure long-term scalability and maintainability of Salesforce platforms.
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce engineer with strong technical expertise, architectural thinking, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Proven experience developing solutions on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Community Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with queue-based systems such as SQS, Kafka, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Git and modern version control practices.
- Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps practices, including SFDX, CI/CD pipelines, Change Sets, and Metadata API.
- Ability to read and write technical documentation in English, with professional communication skills in Portuguese and working knowledge of English.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, maintainability, and engineering best practices.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, or App Builder.
- Experience with MuleSoft, Tableau CRM, or other Salesforce ecosystem tools.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, Java, or other programming languages used for integrations.
- Experience designing or working with microservices architectures.
