CTG is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise data warehouse solutions. This role will focus on Snowflake development, ETL processes, SQL development, data integration, and batch scheduling using Control-M. The ideal candidate will have strong IBM DataStage experience, expertise with relational databases, and the ability to support large-scale data environments.

Duration: 5 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows using IBM DataStage.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Support data integration processes across enterprise database platforms, including DB2 and Netezza.
- Develop and maintain Unix and Shell scripts to automate data processing tasks.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot scheduled jobs using Control-M.
- Analyze data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to improve data quality and performance.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse development.
- Strong IBM DataStage ETL development experience.
- Advanced SQL development skills.
- Experience with Control-M or similar enterprise scheduling tools.
- Proficiency with Unix and Shell scripting.
- Experience working with DB2 and Netezza databases.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Insurance industry experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale data analytics environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or ETL development.
- Proven experience building and supporting enterprise data solutions.
- Experience working with large-scale data integration processes and production support environments.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
