JOB DESCRIPTION:

Generous Brands is seeking a mid-level Creative Project Manager to lead the day-to-day operational engine behind creative work across our growing portfolio of brands. Reporting to the Senior Creative Project Manager, you will manage projects from intake through final delivery, balancing multiple workstreams, protecting timelines and Creative team bandwidth, and keeping Creative, Brand, and cross-functional teams aligned. You bring a process-first mindset, fluency in design terminology, and the communication skills to translate creative needs across the team. You thrive in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment and take pride in keeping ambitious creative work moving smoothly and on time.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Project Intake & Prioritization: Manage intake of creative requests across all brands, vetting scope, gathering requirements, and prioritizing work with the Senior Creative Project Manager.
  • Project Execution & Timeline Management: Shepherd projects from brief through final delivery, including reviews, feedback consolidation, and timeline management.
  • Resource Management: Track in-house designer and freelance bandwidth to support balanced workloads and on-time delivery.
  • Print & Packaging Production Coordination: Coordinate with Purchasing on printed materials, including labels and packaging, scheduling proofs and approvals as needed.
  • Asset & Documentation Management: Maintain organization and version control for brand assets, product renders, packaging files, and project documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Communication & Stakeholder Management: Ensure stakeholders understand and commit to project tasks and timelines, communicating updates to stakeholders, managers, and senior leadership as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Project Management Tools: Comfortable working within project management systems to track tasks, timelines, and deliverables across projects and brands.
  • Design Fluency: Working understanding of design basics, including file types and production terminology.
  • Big-Picture Thinking: Skilled at seeing the full scope of a project from the outset, asking the right questions to get deliverables and requirements documented before work begins.
  • Workload Prioritization: Ability to manage a busy, multi-brand workload, prioritizing effectively and staying accountable to deadlines, with clear, proactive communication and progress on blockers.
  • Communication & Feedback: Excellent written & verbal communication skills; able to speak easily to a variety of roles and personalities and synthesize multi-stakeholder feedback.
  • Organization & File Management: Exceptional organizational and timeline management skills with a disciplined approach to file structure, naming conventions, and asset management.
  • Problem Solving: An empowered self-starter who instinctively thinks ahead, is adaptable, and quick to solve problems; tenacious in follow-through from briefing to delivery.
  • Collaboration: Skilled at building positive, collaborative relationships across Creative, Marketing, and cross-functional teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager at a creative/digital/marketing agency, or in-house with a CPG brand.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous creative projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with digital project management and communication tools and systems (e.g. Dropbox, Monday.com, Smartsheet, SharePoint, etc.).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in CPG, beverage or food is a strong plus.
  • Experience managing packaging and print production processes is a plus but not required.
