Full description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Marketing Manager based in the United States.
This role is an opportunity to shape how AI products are positioned, understood, and adopted within the financial services market. You will own messaging, sales collateral, competitive intelligence, and enablement across a portfolio of AI-powered products. Working closely with sales, client success, and product teams, you will turn customer insights and field feedback into compelling market-facing assets. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving, sales-led and demo-driven environment. You will help launch new products and features while using performance data to continuously improve marketing effectiveness. As the team grows, you will have the opportunity to influence buyer insights, go-to-market strategy, packaging, pricing, and external advocacy. This is a high-ownership position suited to a marketer who enjoys building from the ground up and turning technical capabilities into credible business value.
\n
Accountabilities:
- Own the sales collateral ecosystem, including one-pagers, pitch decks, battlecards, ROI models, objection-handling resources, and materials supporting sales-led demonstrations.
- Develop differentiated positioning and messaging for assigned products, translating technical capabilities and AI functionality into clear, credible buyer-focused narratives.
- Partner closely with sales and client success teams to capture field insights, customer outcomes, and proof points and turn them into effective assets and case studies.
- Lead product and feature launches across internal enablement, external content, website updates, email communications, and sales training.
- Build and maintain competitive intelligence and comparison materials to strengthen performance in head-to-head evaluations.
- Analyze win rates, pipeline influence, asset utilization, and other performance indicators to prioritize new initiatives and continuously improve product marketing processes.
- Contribute to broader content initiatives such as blog posts, webinars, ebooks, and campaign materials where product expertise can strengthen the outcome.
- Develop buyer personas, ICP definitions, and win/loss insights while progressively taking ownership of packaging, pricing, go-to-market strategy, customer advocacy, conference participation, and analyst relations.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of product marketing experience, primarily within B2B environments.
- Experience in a startup or early-stage company, with a demonstrated ability to execute directly rather than relying primarily on external resources.
- Strong experience creating sales collateral and clear examples of assets that have been actively adopted by sales teams.
- Experience supporting sales-led, demo-driven go-to-market motions in close partnership with sales and client success organizations.
- Background marketing to SMB or mid-market buyers, particularly in environments where budgets are closely evaluated and buyers may also be end users.
- Daily working fluency with AI tools for research, drafting, competitive analysis, and marketing asset development.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort interpreting performance, pipeline, and other business data to guide priorities.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical concepts into accessible messaging for non-technical audiences.
- Creative and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify differentiated perspectives in competitive markets.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
- Interest in expanding beyond sales enablement into customer insight, broader go-to-market strategy, and external advocacy.
- Experience with financial institutions such as credit unions or community banks, or with other regulated industries, is a plus.
- Experience marketing AI, automation, or conversational AI products is a plus.
Benefits:
- Competitive annual base salary of $120,000–$140,000 for the U.S. Tier 2 compensation range.
- Equity participation.
- Full-time employment with a remote U.S. work arrangement.
- Boston-area hybrid work is preferred.
- Opportunity to work directly across product, sales, and client success in a high-ownership environment.
- Opportunity to grow into broader responsibilities spanning buyer insights, go-to-market strategy, packaging, pricing, and external advocacy.
