What's the role?

We are looking for a Lead AI Value Analyst to help ensure that AI investments at HERE deliver measurable business outcomes. Working closely with business stakeholders, Finance, product owners, and the AI CoE, this role supports the development, evaluation, and tracking of AI use case business cases. The AI Value Analyst is responsible for documenting value assumptions, estimating benefits, measuring realized outcomes, and providing transparency into the return on AI investments.

This role combines business analysis, financial modeling, and data-driven decision making to help prioritize AI opportunities with the greatest potential impact. The Value Analyst plays a key role in moving AI initiatives beyond experimentation by ensuring benefits are clearly defined, measured, and reported.

What You'll Do

  • Support the creation and maintenance of business cases for AI and automation initiatives across the enterprise.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to quantify expected benefits, including productivity gains, cost avoidance, cost reduction, revenue impact, and risk mitigation.
  • Apply established ROI frameworks and benefit-calculation methodologies to evaluate proposed AI use cases.
  • Assist in prioritizing AI opportunities based on strategic alignment, business value, feasibility, and delivery effort.
  • Track and report realized benefits against original business case commitments.
  • Collect, analyze, and validate data needed for value assessments and benefit realization reporting.
  • Prepare dashboards, scorecards, and presentations that communicate AI program value to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Work with Finance to ensure benefit estimates and realized value reporting align with enterprise financial standards.
  • Identify risks, assumptions, and dependencies that may impact expected value realization.
  • Contribute to portfolio reviews by highlighting high-value opportunities and identifying underperforming initiatives.
  • Support the development of AI value management best practices, templates, and governance processes.
  • Collaborate with the Metrics Lead to establish consistent measurement and reporting approaches across the AI portfolio.

Who are you?

  • Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, consulting, operations, PMO, or value realization roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, digital transformation, or technology programs.
  • Experience developing business cases, cost-benefit analyses, or investment justification materials.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools, with the ability to build financial models and performance reports.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain value metrics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and a disciplined approach to validating assumptions and reported results.
  • Understanding of KPI development, benefits tracking, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is a plus.
