About the Role

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you'll take end-to-end ownership of MOL Group's Azure-based cloud platform and Databricks Lakehouse environment. You will design, build, operate, and continuously improve scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure while enabling product squads through modern DevOps practices and self-service tooling.

Working closely with the Cloud Architect, Data Engineering, Analytics, Product, and Business teams, you will play a critical role in strengthening platform reliability, developer experience, automation, security, governance, and cloud cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain enterprise-grade Azure infrastructure and cloud services

• Ensure platform availability, scalability, reliability, and security

• Own and continuously improve the Databricks Lakehouse environment

• Support Data Engineering and Analytics teams with platform best practices and governance

• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and release management processes.

• Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep) and automation-first practices

• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Datadog, and Log Analytics

• Manage platform security, identity, access control, and compliance requirements

• Lead cloud cost optimization initiatives with a FinOps mindset

• Enable product squads through self-service tooling, reusable components, and documentation

• Collaborate closely with Cloud Architects, Product Managers, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders

• Support the introduction of new technologies and continuous platform evolution

• Stay curious – learn and master new cloud technologies as they come

About Your Experience and Skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field

• Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, DP-203, or equivalent are strongly preferred

• Databricks certifications are considered an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Azure cloud platforms

• Proven experience operating enterprise-scale Azure infrastructure

• Strong experience with: Azure DevOps, CI/CD implementation, Infrastructure as Code, Cloud automation

• Practical experience with: Terraform and/or Bicep, Azure Networking, Security & Identity Management

• Experience with Databricks Lakehouse architecture

• Experience supporting Data Engineering and Analytics platforms

• Experience working in Agile product organizations

• Experience in multinational and cross-functional environments

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).

• Familiarity with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and data platform operations.

• Understanding of monitoring, security, and identity management (Azure Monitor, Datadog, Entra ID, RBAC).

• Knowledge of platform reliability, automation, and cloud cost optimization.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skill
