Job Overview:

As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality of our products, by creating thorough test coverage and ensuring accurate testing. We’re looking for a skilled, detail-oriented team player who can effectively collaborate on various projects. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and other qa team members to ensure quality is the focus throughout the SDLC lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements in order to plan and execute test cases to ensure thorough and accurate testing
  • Work closely with Development, Product, Design, and QA teams to uphold our quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Communicate test status and risk updates to all stakeholders early and frequently
  • Promote a culture of quality across the organization throughout the entire SDLC
  • Provide thorough documentation of defects found during testing to aid in efficient debugging and root cause analysis
  • Analyze defect leakage for root cause analysis and remediation efforts needed
  • Test across API, web, and mobile applications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance
  • Experience with project management and test management tools (Jira, Xray, etc.)
  • Experience testing API and web or mobile applications
  • Experience writing test cases and test plans
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide and support team members
