As a DevOps Engineer- Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving software and product innovation within our Software Engineering family. You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing DevOps practices to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our software delivery processes. As a Specialist, you will provide specialized technical knowledge, handling detailed tasks and in-depth analyses to support specific projects. You will adapt to a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work, and consistently deliver quality results that drive value for clients and contribute to the team's success.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network, focusing on Scaled Engineering Services. Your contributions will be instrumental in supporting client-facing projects, leveraging your skills to provide technical know-how and conduct thorough analyses. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within our Software Engineering practice, where you will be encouraged to share your insights and support the development of innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

- Developing and implementing software solutions using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++ - Managing application lifecycle processes including development, testing, and deployment - Conducting in-depth analysis and debugging to resolve software issues and improve system performance - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for software projects - Utilizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices to streamline software development and deployment - Designing and maintaining microservices architecture to enhance system scalability and reliability - Performing code reviews to validate adherence to coding standards and best practices - Supporting client projects by providing specialized technical knowledge and advisory services - Engaging in business process improvement initiatives to optimize software development workflows - Applying object-oriented design principles to create robust and maintainable software applications

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 1 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering - Demonstrating proficiency in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices - Utilizing programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript - Applying knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs - Excelling in software development methodologies and application lifecycle management - Supporting client projects with specialized software engineering skills - Conducting in-depth analyses for cloud engineering and data analytics solutions
