Pain Specialists of America

Pain Specialists of America ("PSA" or "Company") is a Texas-based, multisite comprehensive pain management company that includes over 14 locations, three ASCs and one CLIA-certified laboratory. PSA is growing rapidly. We require highly competent, talented professionals who can support the business and help it achieve its strategic objectives.

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting PSA’s continued growth and success. This position will work closely with the accounting team and executive leadership to provide meaningful financial analysis, insights, and reporting that support informed business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to analyze financial data within a clinical healthcare environment and translate complex information into actionable insights. The individual will work collaboratively across the organization, partnering with teams at all levels to identify reporting needs, uncover opportunities for improvement, and develop effective solutions. The successful candidate will bring a strong analytical approach, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing organization.

Requirements

Detailed Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Design and develop reports to analyze data in meaningful ways to disseminate among the Finance and Executive teams.
  • Develop financial models to enable data driven decision making
  • Develop reports in Power BI, understanding data structures and data models
  • Manage the budget and reforecast process using NetSuite Planning and Budgeting tool
  • Provide analysis of monthly financial and operational results
  • Work with accounting team to investigate variances in monthly financial results
  • Analyze location financials, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for margin improvements.
  • Create Power Point decks as needed for senior leadership
  • Handle ad hoc time sensitive data requests
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, with a high level of sensitivity, diplomacy, and professionalism

Education and Experience/Technical Skills

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years of finance experience in an FP&A role, preferably in healthcare sector
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
  • ERP Experience, preferably NetSuite
  • Basic knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition rules
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
