Role Purpose As Engineer II - Devops at Accelya, you will independently deliver CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and platform reliability engineering solutions, building scalable and well-tested systems that support Accelya's 200+ airline customers worldwide.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Independently design and deliver CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and platform reliability engineering solutions, producing clean, well-tested and maintainable code
- Use GitHub Copilot, Claude and AI-powered CI/CD analytics tools for pipeline automation, intelligent deployment validation and predictive reliability analytics to drive development velocity, improve code quality and conduct AI-assisted design reviews
- Lead technical analysis and estimation for assigned features and workstreams
- Conduct peer code reviews, providing constructive technical feedback
- Collaborate with architects and product teams on technical roadmap decisions
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvement and DevOps best practices
- Use generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT) for technical design documentation and specification drafting
Required Experience & Skills
- 3–5 years of DevOps experience with a track record of delivering production-quality solutions
- Solid proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana and AWS DevOps services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and Agile delivery
- Good system design skills and understanding of distributed systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Proficiency with GitHub Copilot, Claude and AI-powered CI/CD analytics tools for pipeline automation, intelligent deployment validation and predictive reliability analytics for AI-assisted development with measurable improvements in velocity and quality
- Knowledge of airline technology systems, APIs and how leading platforms like Amadeus, Sabre and FLYR approach similar engineering challenges
- Use of generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT) for technical design documentation and architecture decision records
- Familiarity with AWS advanced services and how Accelya's AWS partnership enables platform innovation
