Senior iOS Developer - Propely

Propely is building an intelligent property management platform that is becoming the daily operating system for an industry ready for digital transformation. Today, more than 10,000 professionals use Propely every month to manage and operate thousands of properties across Norway.

We are now looking for a Senior iOS Developer who wants to take ownership of our iOS application and shape the future of mobile at Propely.

Mobile plays a central role in how our users interact with Propely.

Property managers and operators rarely spend their entire day behind a desk. They use Propely while moving through buildings, following up tasks, documenting work, and managing properties in the real world.

Today, iOS is our most-used platform, making it one of the most important parts of the Propely experience. As we grow across customers, properties, and markets, we want to take that experience further.

What you’ll do

As our Senior iOS Developer, you will initially be the primary developer responsible for Propely on iOS.

This gives you significant influence over both the application itself and how we approach iOS development as a company. You will work closely with product, design, backend engineers, and our Android developer to build mobile experiences used every day by professionals managing real properties.

You will:

• Own and evolve the iOS application. Take responsibility for its architecture, quality, performance, and technical evolution.

• Build new product experiences. Work closely with product and design from idea to production, creating features that make everyday property operations simpler.

• Shape our technical direction on iOS. Make decisions around architecture, patterns, frameworks, and how the application should evolve as Propely grows.

• Push modern iOS development forward. Continue evolving an application built almost entirely in SwiftUI, with an active transition towards modern Swift Concurrency.

• Bring AI into the mobile experience. AI is becoming an increasingly important part of the Propely product, and you will help shape how new AI-driven capabilities become useful, intuitive experiences for our mobile users.

• Improve performance and reliability. Make sure the app remains fast, stable, and intuitive as usage and complexity increase.

• Evolve our mobile engineering practices. Help define how we work with testing, CI/CD, releases, monitoring, and code quality on iOS.

• Build the foundation for a future mobile team. Establish technical patterns and ways of working that future iOS engineers can build on.

• Collaborate across the product. Work closely with Android, backend, product, and design to create a consistent experience across the Propely platform.

You will have a high degree of autonomy and real influence over both technical decisions and the future of mobile at Propely.

We are looking for an experienced iOS developer who is passionate about building great native mobile experiences, to help define how iOS development is done at Propely as both the product and team grow.

• Have experience building and maintaining native iOS applications in production

• Have strong experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and Swift Concurrency

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, patterns, and best practices in modern iOS development

• Stay curious about emerging technologies, including AI, and how they can be used to create better mobile products and user experiences

• Are comfortable taking ownership of an iOS codebase and making architectural and technical decisions

• Care about user experience, performance, reliability, and product quality

• Enjoy working closely with product and design to turn ideas into great mobile experiences

• Thrive with a high degree of ownership and autonomy

Experience with modern iOS architecture, testing, CI/CD, and building mobile products at scale is a strong advantage.
