We are looking for you,

Cybersecurity Operations Lead

to our Cybersecurity team in Espoo, Finland.

As our Cybersecurity Operations Lead, you will be the linchpin of our security efforts, ensuring that our digital fortress is impenetrable. You’ll take charge of our Security Operations Center (SOC), leading its transformation and working with a leading supplier and our internal experts to refine our security processes, responding to threats, and continuously evolving our detection and defense strategies.

• Lead with Vision:

  • Guide, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of security experts and suppliers
  • Cultivate a collaborative, innovative environment that encourages continuous learning and improvement
  • Be a thought leader, driving the strategic direction of our security operations

• Drive Security Excellence:

  • Oversee the SOC’s operations, ensuring optimal performance in threat detection, incident response, and recovery
  • Ensure our security measures are not just reactive but proactive, identifying and mitigating risks before they become issues
  • Continuously improve how we address the vulnerabilities in our technical environments

• Respond to Emerging Threats:

  • Lead the charge in identifying and analyzing the latest threats, ensuring that we stay one step ahead of cyber adversaries
  • Orchestrate effective incident response strategies, from containment to recovery, minimizing impact on the business
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and confidence in our security measures

• Innovate and Evolve:

  • Continuously enhance our security operations, integrating the latest technologies and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into every aspect of our operations while also ensuring compliance

• Report and Influence:

  • Deliver compelling, data-driven reports on our security operations, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
  • Influence senior leadership with actionable insights and recommendations that elevate our security posture.

The best combination to succeed in this role

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a strong plus
  • Several years of experience in security operations, including leadership experience, with a track record of success in incident response, vulnerability management, threat management, and security monitoring
  • Deep knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).
  • Expertise in security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security
  • Experience with threat intelligence and forensics
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team of security professionals
  • Strong communication abilities, with a talent for translating complex security concepts into clear, actionable insights
  • Resilience and composure under pressure, with a passion for problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsible attitude with a safety-oriented mindset
