Healthcare EHR Systems Analyst || Atlanta, GA || Hybrid || Contract

We are looking for an experienced EHR/Healthcare Systems Analyst to support and improve EHR and Practice Management systems in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, configure, and troubleshoot EHR/EMR and Practice Management systems.
  • Work with clinical, business, technical, and development teams to gather requirements.
  • Support HL7 integrations and resolve system/interface issues.
  • Troubleshoot application, Windows, cloud, and technical issues.
  • Coordinate with software vendors and internal development teams.
  • Manage system updates, patches, backups, and data integrity.
  • Create and manage technical issues/tickets using JIRA/Ivanti.
  • Analyze clinical workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support end users and assist with EHR training.
  • Follow HIPAA and IT security best practices.
  • Use tools such as REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger for testing and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of experience supporting EHR/EMR or healthcare applications.
  • Experience with HL7 and healthcare/clinical systems.
  • Experience with system implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar ticketing systems.
  • Strong Windows troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and IT security practices.
  • Healthcare IT, hospital, or medical clinic experience preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent healthcare IT experience may be considered.
