Senior Golang Engineer

As our company continues to expand, ANDPAD Vietnam is seeking a Golang Engineer to join our team and collaborate with the product manager to develop our application. Operating within a Squad—a small, agile team—you will be involved comprehensively and efficiently in all stages from design to development, testing, and operations.

You will also have numerous opportunities to work with new programming languages and frameworks beyond the primary language, all within a diverse international environment.

■ Job Scope

• Design and implement product features using Golang
• Refactor existing products to support microservices architecture
• Define requirements and formulate specifications in partnership with product managers and designers
• Design system architecture based on requirements
• Evaluate quality improvements and implement measures to enhance the service

■ Development Environment

• Infrastructure: AWS, GCP
• CI/CD: CircleCI, CodeBuild
• Databases: Amazon Aurora (MySQL compatible), Elasticsearch, DynamoDB
• Configuration management: Ansible
• Deployment/Build tools: CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CircleCI, GitHub Actions
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Packer, Terraform
• Monitoring tools: Datadog, Bugsnag
• Other tools: Swagger, Docker, ZenHub, Figma, Slack, Jira

■ Your Skills and Experience

Must have:

• Alignment with Andpad’s mission and core values
• Over 5 years of experience in developing and operating web services using Golang, AWS, and gRPC
• Proven track record as a technical lead throughout the full project development lifecycle
• Experience in developing and maintaining web applications using relevant frameworks
• Expertise in schema design for RDBMS and key-value stores, including optimizing query performance
• Strong knowledge of web application security principles
• Experience writing test code, including unit tests
• Proficiency in English communication

Nice to have:

• Experience troubleshooting issues by analyzing logs and resolving problems
• Background in developing systems with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience designing architecture based on application requirements and selecting appropriate middleware
• Contributions to open-source software (OSS) and experience publishing code
• Experience with external technical communications such as writing, blogging, or speaking engagements
• Context Engineering experience: ability to provide the right context to AI agents, structure codebases for AI readability, and reduce hallucinations
