About the Team
This role will lead our APAC region Payroll Product Management team and is responsible for defining and delivering world-class payroll solutions that meet the complex and rapidly evolving needs of our customers across the APAC region. This team sits at the intersection of customer experience, regulatory compliance, and scalable product innovation, ensuring that our payroll offerings are both locally compliant and globally consistent.
This position is an essential member of the Leadership team, reporting to a Director. They will lead a geographically diverse team and work with peers across both Development and Quality Assurance. This role will lead a highly effective Product team composed of payroll product managers.
About the Role
- Deep understanding of local legislation, statutory requirements, and market practices, and translating them into intuitive, robust product capabilities.
- Ability to partner closely with multiple teams (Development and Quality Assurance) and regional go-to-market teams (Product Marketing, etc) to deliver end-to-end solutions that are reliable, secure, and easy to use.
- Own the full product lifecycle: from market discovery and requirements definition.
- Collate relevant data, customer feedback, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders to prioritize effectively and continuously enhance our payroll offerings.
- Lead by example through high-quality execution and continuous improvement.
- Guide and develop a team of product managers responsible for multiple APAC country payrolls and cross-country capabilities.
- Champion the APAC perspective in global product forums, ensuring our regional solutions align with the overall payroll platform strategy.
- This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that will directly influence how customers across APAC pay their employees accurately, on time, and in full compliance with local regulations.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience leading and developing product management teams or domain related teams.
- 10+ years experience in product management or domain related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline; a Master's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.

- Proven ability to manage challenging customer conversations with confidence, including managing expectations while building strong trust-based relationships.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the product team.
- Proven ability manage multiple high priorities and balance updates to key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of Business Mindset and the ability to align product strategy with the company's overall business objectives and financial goals.
- Strong Decision Making skills in complex product and strategic matters, balancing various factors and communicating effectively.
- Proven ability to effectively apply Evangelism to communicate product vision and value to internal and external stakeholders, building enthusiasm and alignment.
- Ability to effectively Manage Ambiguity in product development and market dynamics, guiding teams through uncertainty.
- Understanding of Product Strategies and the ability to contribute to and execute product roadmaps and market approaches.
- Strong understanding of Talent Development principles and experience in coaching and mentoring product team members.
- Ability to apply Transformational Leadership principles to inspire and motivate product teams towards achieving ambitious goals and fostering innovation.
