Saxo Bank's enterprise-wide regulatory reporting team ensures global reporting standards, automated reporting cycles and regulatory updates as a service. Group finance and risk have the regulatory reporting responsibility for Capital, Liquidity and Financial reports throughout several jurisdictions. The regulatory space is rapidly developing, and the implementation of Regulatory application has played a significant role in adapting to these changes and at the same ensure scalability
Responsibilities
- Functional aspect and delivery of functionality which meet stakeholder needs in Finance & Risk.
- Act as the subject-matter expert on financial reporting frameworks (e.g., Basel III/IV, CRR/CRD, COREP/FINREP, LCR/NSFR, leverage ratio, local central bank/statistical returns).
- Interpret regulatory texts, guidance and Q&As; document firm-wide interpretations and ensure consistent application
- Participate in an agile development process with emphasis on taking personal ownership and responsibility for your deliveries.
- Partner with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations, Compliance, Legal and Technology to align on scope, design and control expectations.
- Translate regulatory rules into clear functional logic and reporting taxonomies (templates, data points, validation rules)
- Define test strategies and scenarios (SIT, UAT, regression) based on regulatory logic and data permutations
- Be working with a high-performance team, which focus on technical professionalism and quality in deliveries.
Your profile
As a person you come across as team-player who is professional, analytical, solution-oriented, positive and energetic. You should also have proven experience with the below:
- 7-10 years of experience in Finance Regulatory reporting.
- Strong understanding of regulations and guidelines like IFRS9, CRDIV, BASEL 3-5 or other equivalent guidelines for model risk management.
- Well-versed with Finance Regulatory Reporting design specifically Taxonomy.
- Should be well verse with Credit Risk, Market Risk and Operational Risk Regulatory Reporting.
- Responsibility for timely resolution of ongoing regulatory and industry group outcomes and other events on business requirements.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills along with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Work effectively in and leading working groups with diverse Business stakeholders to ensure requirements and priorities are successfully met.
- Identifying and documenting business requirements from key business stakeholders.
- Conducting deep dive analyses, gap analyses and proposing responses.
- Work in partnership with key stakeholders and programs to define business solutions that deliver requirements.
- Understanding of Banking operations, Investment Banking products and banking regulations, and risk management systems.
- The candidate should be process oriented, have attention to detail, and have good time management skills.
Nice to have:
- Familiar with AXIOM Controller View tool would be good.
- Any Financial Certification would be added advantage (FRM, CFA etc).
