Product Manager (DOCEBO)

GENERATION CITIZEN

Location: Remote

ABOUT US

Generation Citizen offers tools for the rising generation to build civic skills and make America the inclusive, multi-racial democracy that we need. We are transforming how civics is taught by providing equity-rooted, real-world civic education that helps students understand how governments function and how they can make a difference in the system. Through hands-on civic education, legislative advocacy, coalition-building, and youth leadership development, we teach young people to have a voice and become active citizens in their communities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Product Manager to join our diverse and inclusive National Program & Impact team. This role is a critical "hub" responsible for transforming Docebo, our Learning Management System (LMS), into a unified learning and impact platform. You will drive product configuration, integrate technical and implementation components, and oversee platform architecture, reporting pipelines, and integrations—connecting product strategy, instructional design, and evaluation.

As an effective relationship builder, you will ensure our products support an exceptional learner experience and robust content strategy. You will collaborate cross-functionally with e-learning and delivery stakeholders, as well as national/regional teams, to deploy high-quality training and impactful learning management solutions.

This position reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and partners closely with the Chief Operating Officer. While positions are currently remote or hybrid, all staff members are expected to travel overnight at least once per year for staff retreats and other team gatherings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Platform & Product Ownership

  • Own the comprehensive Docebo architecture, configuring all instructional content to maximize user experience and engagement, and maintaining overall UX standards to resolve technical and programmatic inconsistencies.
  • Develop and own all internal workflows to support the internalization of product experiences and connectivity to additional systems (ex., Salesforce)
  • Manage the learning product feature roadmap, shifting the organization from a reactive approach to using our strategic plan as a guide and drawing on user feedback and insights.
  • Lead and maintain system integrations to ensure workflows do not break at scale.
  • Conduct ongoing audits of platform processes to identify operational bottlenecks, and actively recommend and implement system configurations that reduce administrative burden and improve our 'cost to serve' metrics.

Data & Evaluation Integration

  • Translate key evaluation questions from the Measurement & Evaluation team into measurable LMS metrics that support understanding our product use and support partnership maintenance.
  • Align curriculum and course data directly with broader organization-wide impact measures.
  • Build shared dashboards and reporting from Docebo into insights for the Program & Impact team.
  • Develop and deliver internal training initiatives to increase organizational 'data literacy,' empowering non-technical staff to independently access and interpret LMS data to inform their own work.

Cross-Team Governance & Communication

  • Work collaboratively with the Director, Instructional Design, to ensure that the translation of instructional content into Docebo meets learners' needs in line with design goals.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all LMS workflows, ensuring that platform processes are transparent, replicable, and resilient to staff turnover.
  • Run strategic learning systems meetings, set standard operating platform policies, and resolve technical tradeoffs.
  • Proactively identify and address potential cross-functional friction points; lead the communication infrastructure for complex projects, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned before, during, and after implementation phases.

Role Boundaries & Scope Notes:

  • This role is not the primary curriculum designer.
  • This role is not responsible for frontline daily operations support or lead evaluation tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 2+ years of dedicated product management experience, preferably overseeing a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Docebo or a comparable learning technology stack.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing product roadmaps, handling complex third-party software integrations, and establishing UX consistency.
  • Strong capacity to translate evaluation questions into software metrics, configure dashboards, and maintain unsiloed data pipelines.
  • Exceptional relationship management and change management skills necessary to run cross-team governance and train diverse internal groups.
  • Strong project and portfolio management skills, with a track record of managing competing priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience navigating organizational change, including managing stakeholder resistance, building cross-departmental alignment, and translating strategic priorities into practice
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Tableau or comparable data visualization tools, and Qualtrics or similar survey platforms.

NOTE

This position works primarily remotely but will be expected to travel no more than 30% of the time to attend monthly in-person team days, organizational retreats, special events, external partner meetings, conferences, and other potential in-person activities. Required in-person opportunities include, but are not limited to, annual staff retreats, funder meetings, school visits, and region-based Civics Day events. This role may include a limited amount of overnight travel.
