Responsibilities

Position Purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services through comprehensive testing and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your primary focus will be to identify and prevent defects, drive continuous improvement in quality practices, and ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards before reaching customers. You will play a key role in maintaining product stability, supporting automation initiatives and contributing to seamless release activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand functional and non-functional requirements
  • Build and execute automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript)
  • Maintain and enhance existing frameworks, ensuring scalability, reliability and high regression coverage
  • Implement Cucumber (BDD) for behavior-driven testing and maintain reusable test scenarios
  • Perform API testing using Postman or equivalent tools and frameworks
  • Validate complex data flows using SQL/ MongoDB to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
  • Leverage Generative AI tools (GitHub Copilot, OpenAI API or agentic AI assistants) to accelerate test development, framework refactoring and defect triage
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives)

Qualifications

Desired technical skills

  • Proficiency in Playwright Framework (Java or TypeScript) for both UI and API automation
  • Practical experience using GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or Agentic AI tools for code generation, test authoring and debugging
  • Basic domain knowledge in Financial Services, preferably Payments, FX or Banking systems
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JMeter, k6)
  • Understanding or hands-on exposure to AI‑driven testing techniques, including test optimization, intelligent test data generation, or self‑healing automation

Education / Certification Requirements:

  • Completing Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or related field by july'27
  • ISTQB/Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or equivalent is a plus
  • Available for a full-time apprenticeship program starting on 20th Jan'27 - 31st July'27 .

Working environment

  • Minimum 4 days from office
