Full description

Write the requirements a payroll platform gets built from.

PrismHR is the HR, payroll, and benefits platform used by employer-services organizations across the US, backed by Vensure Employer Solutions. Every feature starts as a requirement written precisely enough for engineers to build from — and in payroll, imprecision is expensive.

This is a product role for someone genuinely technical. You will not be handing wishes to engineers; you will be reading C#, testing APIs in Postman, and writing user stories that survive sprint planning.

You will gather requirements from business stakeholders, write user stories with acceptance criteria, personas, NFRs, and process flows in Jira or Azure DevOps, manage a prioritized backlog of epics and features, run multiple platform initiatives at once, work with onshore and offshore development teams, and create technical and end-user documentation.

You will need:

  • Proven experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, NFRs, and process flows in Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Ability to read and understand C# — enough to reason about what the system does
  • Hands-on API development or testing with Postman or Bruno
  • Solid SQL Server, including writing your own queries
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort running parallel initiatives
  • Experience with distributed onshore, near-shore, and offshore teams
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Nice to have: payroll, benefits, or HCM domain knowledge; platform or API-first products; Agile experience.

The schedule: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST, Monday to Friday, first four hours from the Noida office and the rest from home. For a requirements role the overlap is the job — requirements get elicited in live conversation, not from second-hand notes.

Competitive compensation, health coverage, learning support, and a genuine path to Product Manager. You will report directly to a Director or Sr. Director of Products, so the exposure is real. Apply now.
