Brief Job Description:

To provide technical support for Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity across industrial control systems including DCS, PLC, SIS, SCADA, industrial networks, servers, and associated OT assets. Support the Corporate Cybersecurity (CISO) organization by implementing OT cybersecurity requirements, facilitating compliance activities, and providing evidence for audits, assessments, and regulatory reviews. Ensure the secure, reliable, and recoverable operation of OT systems through cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability mitigation, backup and recovery management, and implementation of approved cybersecurity controls in coordination with Control System Engineers, Operations, and Engineering personnel.

Education:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering with OT Cybersecurity related Engineering discipline.
  • Master's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Industrial Automation, or Control Systems Engineering is desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, OT infrastructure, or cybersecurity within petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas, power generation, or process industries.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of direct hands-on experience supporting OT/ICS cybersecurity environments.
  • Experience with Industrial Ethernet and OT networking technologies.
  • Experience in OT asset inventory management, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch management, backup & recovery, and cybersecurity monitoring.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity audits, compliance assessments, evidence collection, and remediation tracking.
  • Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC), Design Change Requests (DCR), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities.
  • Experience working with system vendors, cybersecurity consultants, OEMs, and external auditors
  • Experience in strategic planning and performance management.
