Job Description

  • We are looking for a Senior application developer with  Linux OS Java developer to build, test, deploy and support SWIFT network interface related Unix applications. This is very exciting role in fast paced development environment to work with extremely talented group delivering large development initiatives. Technical Knowledge of Swift is a plus.

  • Experience in development Java based applications
  • Ownership and accountability of applications along with upstream and downstream integrations and successful implementation large and complex projects
  • Extensive domain experience SWIFT messaging platform.
  • Work closely with the Product Owners and others on requirements analysis, planning, project management, and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, develop, test, document and implement large software deliverables.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in Kubernetes
  • Strong monitoring and observability
  • Maintains and supports existing software applications.
  • Identifies and resolves complex application issues and bugs.
  • Experience with Ci/CD pipelines for application deployment like Harness or Jenkins.
  • Take ownership to meet or exceed pre-defined SLAs.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
  • 10 -12+ years of experience managing global software development.
  • Experience in translating large complex business requirements into technical design and executing it to successful completion.
  • Maintains and supports existing software applications.
  • Knowledge of midrange system Tandem technical skills is a plus.
  • Experience in Github and other source codes systems.
  • Extensive Experience with UNIX and UNIX ksh scripts
  • Familiarity with SOA concepts and SDLC lifecycle
  • Advocate and implement best practices and improve team processes.
  • Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible.
  • Must be a faster learner and multi-tasker.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Domain:

  • Willing to learn and support Swift network interface software applications in

  • cluding Linux and Legacy Tandem applications.
  • Knowledge of Swift business is a plus.

Work Requirement

  • Onsite 4 days a week in office and one day remote
  • Standard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs(8am to 5pm)

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $157,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the location above, the applicable range could differ.
