We’re looking for a Go Backend Software Engineer to help design, build, and operate backend services and infrastructure APIs for a large‑scale, sovereign cloud platform. You’ll work across cloud‑native distributed systems, Kubernetes, databases, and CI/CD tooling to ensure a secure, scalable, and highly available environment.

- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: until 31.11.2026, with the possibility of extension for an additional 6-12 months
Requirements:
- Really strong experience with Go
- Experience designing and operating high-throughput, large-scale APIs or microservices
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, networking, and database fundamentals
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, observability, and CI/CD
- Ability to troubleshoot performance, reliability, and production issues
- Good command of English (German is a plus)
Nice to have:
- Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
