We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role combines hands-on automation development with solid manual testing capabilities and strong understanding of networking fundamentals. Responsibilities
Job Description
- Design, develop and maintain automated test suites (primarily using Playwright)
- Execute manual tests when required, including exploratory and edge-case testing
- Test REST APIs using Swagger and other API tools
- Validate system behavior across load-balanced environments
- Work with JSON payloads, encryption/decryption mechanisms and authentication flows
- Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps and product teams to ensure high quality releases
- Investigate production issues and participate in root cause analysis
- Analyze network traffic and debug issues related to DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS advantage
 
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in QA with strong focus on Automation
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
- Proven experience building automation infrastructure from scratch (Page Object Model, project structure, frameworks, utilities, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and Swagger documentation
- Experience testing distributed systems behind load balancers
- Practical experience working with JSON structures
- Basic understanding of encryption/decryption concepts
- Solid knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS and core networking protocols  advantage
- Experience writing scripts for automation (JavaScript / TypeScript / Python)  advantage
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Experience using or integrating AI-assisted tools 
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
