Yardi Business AnalystJob Description Summary

This role is responsible for working closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, while maintaining clear documentation such as BRDs and process flows. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams across business, development, and infrastructure, supports solution design, testing, implementation, and facilitates User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure alignment with business needs. The role also tracks project progress and contributes to reporting. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor’s degree, 2–3 years of experience with technical documentation (preferably in real estate, property management, or financial systems), strong proficiency in Yardi (Voyager required), Excel, and requirement gathering. Success in the role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, with preferred experience in property management, financial systems, Agile methodologies, and tools like JIRA, SQL, or Power BI.Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
  • Create and maintain documentation such as business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, development and infrastructure
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and stakeholder interviews
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Track project progress and assist in status reporting
  • Support solution design, testing, and implementation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience with reading and writing technical specifications, preferably in real estate, property management, or financial systems
  • Hands-on experience with Yardi (Voyager required; additional modules a plus)
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into functional solutions
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of property management and accounting
  • Exposure to requirement management or project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience supporting finance, accounting, leasing, or operations teams
  • Experience with Yardi Reporting, SQL, or data extracts
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid SDLC methodologies
  • Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Excel advanced functions
