About the role

You will own the end-to-end product design, creating interfaces for both human users and AI agents. You are responsible for inventing new design patterns for complex governance, provenance, and permission systems.

What they look for

Product Design UX Design UI Design Brand Strategy AI Tools Product Thinking Technical Infrastructure Prototyping User Research Interaction Design Problem Solving Stakeholder Management

Requirements

The role requires a full-stack product designer with strong UX/UI skills and a deep AI-first mindset. You must be comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment with complex technical infrastructure.

Full description

Factify is building the truth infrastructure layer for regulated AI. Regulated enterprises are moving from AI experimentation to production deployment, but the infrastructure for trust, governance, auditability, and deterministic AI work is still being defined. Our opportunity is to help shape that category before it hardens.

The role

This is a crucial role on a small, senior team. You own your work end to end: UX & UI in one person. No one handing you specs, no layers between you and the product or engineering. You'll work directly with our VP of Product on a product that doesn't yet have a design playbook. That last part is the real job. We're designing a category that doesn't exist. Surfaces where both people and AI agents consume the same information. Interfaces for multiple types of personas - technical teams who live in APIs and business owners who care about business output. Views that shift by role and permission. Nobody has good patterns for this. You'll invent them.

What you'll do

  • Own product design end to end, from core experiences to the details nobody else notices.
  • Take an abstract, ambiguous problem and turn it into something people trust on sight.
  • Design for two users at once: the human making a decision and the agent doing the work.
  • Make governance, provenance, and permissions feel like clarity, not compliance overhead.
  • Shape the brand and make Factify feel like nothing else in the category.

Requirements

  • A full-stack product designer. Strong UX, strong UI, real brand instinct. Not great at one and thin on the rest.
  • AI-first mindset. You feel at home working hands-on with AI tools and operating agents on your behalf. You will not be able to keep up with the team without that.
  • Product thinking under ambiguity. You can take a vague, hard problem, decide what to build and what to leave out, and defend the cut.
  • Craft. You care about the pixel, the microinteraction, the moment something clicks. Delight isn't decoration to you. It's how trust gets built.
  • Comfort with technical and infrastructure products. You don't need to write code, but APIs, developers, and a problem with no consumer analog don't scare you.
  • A point of view. You argue from the user and the problem, not from taste, and you'll change your mind for a good reason without folding.
  • Start-up mode on. We run faster than market changes. You need to feel comfortable in an ever-changing environment, where we are stubborn on our vision but flexible on the details.
