Financial Audit, Senior Analyst – GCC, Hyderabad
POSITION SUMMARY
Works with our clients (and/or their auditors) and Client Audit management as well as other Express Scripts (ES) subject matter experts (business owners throughout the organization) as a lead to compile supporting documentation during the client audit process. Assists Client Audit staff with performing their job duties. Serves as project lead and responsible for data deliverables within the audit. Monitors contract terms to ensure Clients are requesting appropriate data and Client Audit responds in accordance with contractual turnaround times. Assists with troubleshooting issues and addresses questions arising from client audits. Works cross functionally with other ES subject matter experts to build out data analytics, obtain applicable electronic files/data for the client audits, ensuring all information is included and readable. Helps develop, implement and communicate department-wide process improvements. Will also be responsible for completing tasks during the course of audits to help develop working knowledge of audit process and to assist with department workload needs. Provides data and ongoing support to both Client Audit and other business owners throughout the organization as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Owns data deliverable process ensuring audit documentation is provided within contractual deadlines by working independently as well as cross functionally with internal departments. Ensure any Audit performance guarantees (committed turnaround times and accuracy of data with associated penalties for misses) are met.
- Assists with troubleshooting issues and addressing questions arising from audits.
- Discusses the audit with the client (and/or their auditor), understanding and managing their expectations and working through any limitations that may be experienced due to confidentiality of information, etc.
- This position requires the analyst to be able to anticipate the auditor’s and client’s needs.
- It also requires the ability to deal with sensitive situations. Redaction of other client or proprietary information is required.
- Tracks status and serves as technical lead for client audit during routine audits and monitors contracts to ensure clients are requesting appropriate data.
- Fields various requests for information and provides ongoing support for Client Audit as well as other subject matter experts as needed.
- Work directly with subject matter experts to obtain supporting documentation for audit needs.
- Review documentation obtained ensuring support is sufficient to meet client requirements and aligned with contractual audit rights.
- Develop working knowledge of audit process as well as assist with department workload needs.
- Look for opportunities to initiate process improvement and perform all necessary systems analysis and SQL, Macro functions to ensure that the department is moving towards more efficient processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS TO ENTER THE JOB:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
3 to 5 years of experience in auditing, accounting or finance
Computer or Other Skills:
PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, SQL, and data analysis software (i.e. ACL)
Healthcare or PBM experience is preferred
