Job Summary

Support the installation, configuration and ongoing supporting of Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and internet system or a segment of a network system. Participate in the planning and implementation of projects where networks are impacted or required. Install, maintain and resolve issues pertaining to networks.

Job Description

  • Administer and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, VPN, and network security infrastructure.
  • Monitor network availability, performance, and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Implement and maintain network security controls, patches, and configuration standards.
  • Support network projects, upgrades, deployments, and technology refresh initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents within agreed service levels.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Manage relationships with network service providers and support vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and change management requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement, optimization, and operational excellence across network services.

Education

Higher Diplomas: Physical, Mathematical, Computer and Life Sciences (Required)
