If you are a Valve Product Manager professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers a chance to shape the strategic direction of Emerson’s Sliding Stem Valves portfolio across Europe. As part of the Flow Control & Valves organization, you will own the product portfolio end to end—defining vision, driving innovation, and ensuring competitive, customer‑focused solutions that support business growth. You will work closely with sales, engineering, operations, and global product teams to deliver differentiated, profitable products aligned with market needs and Emerson’s values of innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Sliding Stem / control valves portfolio in alignment with FCV Europe growth objectives and market trends.
  • Own the full product lifecycle, from concept and development through launch, sustainment, and phase‑out, identifying growth opportunities and proposing annual development plans.
  • Build business cases to support new product development, portfolio optimization, and long‑term growth initiatives.
  • Lead product launches, ensuring readiness across documentation, pricing, sales tools, training, and internal communication.
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to identify needs, emerging applications, and differentiation opportunities.
  • Translate customer and market insights into clear product requirements for engineering, operations, and supply chain teams, collaborating closely with global Valve SBU partners.
  • Partner with European sales organizations to develop targeted growth plans and support commercial success through product training, technical positioning, and customer engagement.
  • Lead cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, sales, operations, supply chain, and marketing to ensure successful product development and commercialization.
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement tools, including application guides, industry content, competitive insights, and selling playbooks, in partnership with Marketing Communications.
  • Monitor product performance, profitability, and customer feedback, defining pricing, positioning, and improvement actions while leveraging digital and AI‑enabled tools to enhance decision‑making and sales enablement.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Relevant experience in product management, product marketing, or sales within industrial or process industry environments.
  • Strong knowledge of control valve technologies and applications.
  • Ability to influence and lead across functions without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen, with the ability to translate market insights and financial data into clear strategies.
  • Clear, confident communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Comfort using digital tools to support product management, communication, and decision‑making.

Preffered Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience managing valve or flow control product portfolios across multiple European markets.
  • Exposure to digital marketing and external product communication.
  • Familiarity with AI‑enabled tools to support analysis, content creation, or sales enablement.
  • Experience working in global or matrixed organizations with cross‑regional collaboration.
